Be a Fresh X Leader

STUDENT LEADERS ARE THE HEART AND SOUL OF FRESH X. They are the people who make the experiences meaningful and memorable to the first year students.

Each year we assemble an excellent team of student leaders that represents the diversity of OWU. If you think you have what it takes to be on the front line of introducing new students to life at OWU, then this is the opportunity for you.

The Application Process

Leadership applications for Fresh X 2010 will be available next spring.

1.  Read the Role Descriptions (PDF) and decide which positions you are interested in applying for.  To be a leader you must commit to be present for the entire duration of Fresh X including, prep, the trip, and clean up.  Additionally to be a leader for the Wilderness or Habitat Fresh X you must commit to participate in the leader training from August 12^th -15^th.

2.  Download, fill out, and turn in the Leadership Application to Tim Gebhart, either by email (twgebhar@owu.edu) or take a hard copy to the Wilderness Ministry office (403 HWCC) by February 6^th, 2009

3.  Sign up for an individual interview and a group interview on the bulletin board outside the Wilderness Ministry office.

4.  After both interviews you will receive an email to inform you if you've been offered a postion and explaining the next steps you need to take.
